ELICOS courses in Australia are open to all international students who wish to improve their English language skills, thereby making it a significant part of one’s study abroad plans.

EAP, English for Academic Purposes. EAP is designed for students getting ready for Australian VET, foundation and university studies. It focuses on improving both spoken and written English. The course ranges from 5 to 52 weeks in duration.

ELICOS can be used as a stepping stone to in-demand courses, like Nursing and Healthcare, Trade in Building Construction, Engineering, or IT.

If your academic grades meet the university’s requirements, but your English test score is just below the cutoff, ELICOS (specifically English for Academic Purposes, or EAP) can be packaged with your main course. Successfully completing this English pathway fulfills the language requirement, allowing you to seamlessly transition into your desired higher education.
