Education Pathway Counsellor (Malaysia)
We seek compassionate and efficient education counsellors to join our team at Global Education Group Pty. Ltd. Headquarters in Melbourne Australia.

As an education counsellor, you will be responsible for providing supervision and assistance to students during the application process from end to end.
Your tasks includes:
- Enquiry and initial consultation
- Enrolment and document support
- Customised Course Proposal

Your Tasks:
- Assist in transitioning from high school to college, including advising on course selection, application process and navigating the culture.
- Create and develop a personalised learning plan for students that addresses their needs and is aligned with their goals.
- Monitor progress through grade reports, transcripts and other feedback tools.
- Work towards enriching students’ mental health and well-being and help them develop coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety and other challenges.
- Stay updated on educational trends, industry developments and changing admission requirements in Australia.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduate diploma or degree in Marketing and/or Communications or a related field. Or minimum experience of (3) three years in study abroad programs or a related role.
- Ability to foster strong relationships with students and other stakeholders.
- Passion for education, commitment to equity and a desire to positively impact students’ lives.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with students and their families.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple students and tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Possess Australia Education Agent Training Course (AEATC) certification or equivalent, an advantage.
- Proficiency in CRM, computer applications and educational software.
- Proficiency in a suite of cloud-based productivity apps and collaboration tools, like Microsoft 365.
